He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Wirkki and Aino Wirkki (Viitanen); his wife Pamela Mauk Wirkki; and his brother Tuure Wirkki. He is survived by: his brother Olavi Wirkki (Sue) of Arlington, VT; his children, Randolph Wirkki (Patricia) of Hamilton, NJ, Deborah Wirkki of Rutland, VT, Johannah Sirkka Wirkki of Canada, Kaarina Wirkki (Nathaniel Kindel) of Shushan and Kristoffer Wirkki (Melissa McDaniels) of Bolton, CT; and his grandchildren, Luukas, Griffin, Lincoln, Karin, Stacey, Derek, Sirkka, Annika, Eila and Taave. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
