She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cowles and Ida Cowles (Hicks); and her stepmother Joanne Cowles. She is survived by: her husband D. Dean Hanks; her children, Darrow D. Hanks (Kara) of Salem and Holly B. Keys (Travis) of Salem; her siblings, F. Waite Cowles (Marcia) of Greenwich and Nancy Wilson (Eric) of Bryant, AR; her mother-in-law Jane Wilson Hanks of Florida; and her grandchildren, Chloe Hanks, Hannah Hanks, Dillon Hanks, Elliot Armstrong, Holden Keys and Austin Keys. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
