She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Sutherland and Julia Barbara Sutherland; her husband Delbert A. Ely; her sister Vivian Woodworth; her sons-in-law, Francis Biondi and Nicholas Menei; and her brother-in-law Manning Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Biondi of Secane, PA and Susan Menei of Delaware City, DE.; her sister Phyllis Miller of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Dominic Menei (Stephanie) of Townsend, DE, Michelle Biondi-Birtek (Kemal) of Alburtis, PA, Samuel Menei (Sara) of Middletown, DE and Julia Shultz (Christopher) of Harrington, DE.; and her great grandchildren, Cadence, Tessie Menei, Aden, Abraham, Sidra Birtek, Madeleine Menei and Emma Shultz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hebron United Presbyterian Church.
