He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcide Bourgeois and Alma Bourgeois (Beaudoin); his wife Gizele Gingras Bourgeois; and his brother Paul (Monica Bourgeois). He is survived by: his sons, Bernard Bourgeois (Paula) of Granville and William Bourgeois (Florence) of Whitehall; his brother George Bourgeois (Joan) of Satellite Beach, FL; his granddaughter Sarah Bourgeois (Sean Connors) of Granville; and his niece Theresa Bourgeois of Cohoes.
