We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2024, at the age of 94, William F. Brooks of Salamanca, New York, born in Olean, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William F. Brooks to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Brooks and Eva Strahl Brooks; and his siblings, Melvin Brooks, Douglas Brooks, Arlene O'Conner and LaBerta Freeborn.

He is survived by: his children, William J. Brooks of Salamanca, NY and Mary King (Paul) of Rochester, NY; his grandchildren, Brian King (Elise), Alexander King (Rachel) and April McCarty (Joe) of Rochester, NY; and his close friend Pat Kyler. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the Alzheimer's Association of Western New York, 6400 Sheridan Dr #320, Buffalo, NY 14221.
