He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence A. Larry and Joanne Reynolds Thurston Sr. Larry; and his brother Col. David L. Thurston. He is survived by: his children, Megan Gruthaner (Christopher) of Lockport, NY and Dennis Wilmoth (Tina) of Reynoldsville, PA; his sisters, Linda Chambers (David) of Little Valley, NY and Deborah Winship (Craig) of South Dayton, NY; and his sister-in-law Kathy Thurston of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
