James G. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James G. Smith of Salamanca, New York, who passed away on August 2, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy F. Smith and Amelia Meyers Smith; his daughter Heather Siebert; and his sisters, Patty Jean Pascarella and Elaine Bradley.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Van Winkle of Arkport, NY, James Smith (Janice) of Great Valley, NY and LeRoy Smith of Brunswick, OH; and his grandchildren, Donnie Van Winkle, Will Van Winkle, Haleigh Siebert and Braden Siebert. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Salamanca Public Library, 155 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, NY.
