We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2021, at the age of 84, George P. Schmick Jr. of Salamanca, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Schmick and Rose Bruno Schmick; and his brother Robert Schmick. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Schmick (Elena) of Madera, CA, Michael Schmick and Melissa Schmick of Sarasota, FL; his stepchildren, Mary Kay Jenks (Earl) of Barre, NY, Susan Stone (Daniel), Timothy LaCroix of Kill Buck, NY and Jay LaCroix (Peggy); his grandchildren, Alex Morehouse of Buffalo, NY and Genesis Crouch (Braden); his stepgrandchildren, Myra, Priscilla, Katie, Nicholas, Jessica, Brianna, Bryce, Evelyn and Gian; his brother Ronald Schmick (Bonnie); his nephew Robert "Bubba" Schmick of Great Valley, NY; and his nieces, Jody Winship (David) of Salamanca, NY, Jennifer Schmick and Wendy Vonmoppes (Scott).
Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the Salamanca Youth Center, 36 South Avenue, Salamanca, NY.
