Diane M. Barber Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane M. Barber of Salamanca, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Minnekine and Thelma Minnekine (Gehres); her grandson Travis Barber; her grandparents, Claude Gehres (Bertha) and Burt Minnekine (Cora); her stepgrandfather Marvin Wienk; her half-brother Douglas Vogel; and her family, Pearl, Harold Gehres, Eleanor and Wendell Noff.
She is survived by: her children, James C. Barber (Coreena), Chris A. Barber (Crystal) and Shannon D. Sanders (Tyler E.) of Little Valley; her grandchildren, Michael, Amos, Nicole, Christian, Caitlin Barber, Braiden and Graceyn Sanders; and also James H. Barber of Montana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mentley Funeral Home - Little Valley (411 Rock City St, Little Valley, NY 14755). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the House of Prayer in Salamanca.
