He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Zawatski and Dorothy Lontz Zawatski; his aunt Viola Beeman; his close friend Mickey Ellis; and his father-in-law Vincent Ross.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Kathryn; his children, David V. Zawatski (Victoria Violette), Dana M. Hopkins (Richard), Brian M. Zawatski and Bridgette L. Zawatski (Aaron Geise); his brother Dan Zawatski of Olean, NY; and his close friend Becky Mohr. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
