She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Crouse and Florence Gordon Crouse; and her siblings, Marilyn Crouse, June Crouse, Sanford "Chick" Abrams, John Crouse Jr., Emery "Dewey" Crouse, Gordon Crouse and Reginald Crouse.
She is survived by: her children, Lucia Mele of San Francisco, CA, Robert Mele (Irma Mejia) of Lewiston, NY, Christopher Mele (Nicole Burrell) of San Jose, CA and Antonio Mele (Jananya) of Menlo Park, CA; her grandchildren, Margherita, Ahuitzotl, Tonatiuh, Naolin, Antonio, Anyada, Umada and Metztli; her great grandchildren, Clara, Paloma and ManMan; and her sister Gretta Kettle of Salamanca, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
