He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl A. Seitz and Theresa Sirdivan Seitz; and his siblings, Catherine Howden, Martin, Karl, Paul, John and James "Sammie" Seitz.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Smith (Tom Biruk) of Cortland, NY, Ann Hawkins (Toby) of Hinsdale, NY, David Seitz of Golden Valley, AZ and Tom Seitz (Sharon Viehdeffer) of Batavia, NY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
