He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Hentnik and Elizabeth Jean Hentnik; his siblings, Patricia and Kevin; and his son Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his brothers, John "Jack" Hentnik (Elizabeth) and Jeffrey Hentnik (Heather); his stepdaughter Pamela Baber (Bob); his grandchildren, Courtney Benson (Andrew), Caitlyn Hentnik, Tori Acker and Caitlin Barton (Lacee); and his close friends, Jimmy Romeyn and Michael Vassi. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, In-Laws.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Johnsville American Legion (38 W Main St, St Johnsville, NY 13452).
In lieu of flower offerings, donations in Steven's name may be considered to the American Cancer Society.
