He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Tompson and Marie Tompson (Nellis); his wife Darlene Sanders Tompson; and his brother William Tompson. He is survived by: his children, James Tompson (Tracy) and Jessica Tompson; his stepchildren, Bryn Trumbull (Myra), Bobbie Jo Rowland (Mark), Shannon Welch Gannon (Rich) and Josh Welch (Jennifer); his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Trumbull (Constance), Austin, Robert Trumbull, Avery, Savannah Rowland, Aubrey, Taya, Kaylin Gannon, Clayton and Dustin Welch; his great grandchild Garrett Trumbull; and his friends, Bill, Sherry Kneaskern, Lori, Janelle Pawling, Leslie, Charles Siegel, Holly Wentworth, Bob, Maryann, Charlie, Sue, David, Mike, Diane, Ron, Darlene and Patti.
In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions may be made to either, Pura Syndrome, Make a Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House or to Roswell Park Cancer Center.
