It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Swartz of Saint Johnsville, New York, born in Fort Plain, New York, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Beatrice Swartz Sr. (Bauer); and his sisters, Eleanor Nichols and Priscilla Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla (Hazzard); his sons, Richard A. Swartz Jr. (Tonya) of Parkesburg, PA, Steven Swartz of St. Johnsville, NY and Shawn Swartz (Stacy) of Nelliston, NY; his brother Raymond Swartz, Jr. of St. Johnsville; his grandchildren, Joey (Juhana), Haley, Austin and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Satcha, Samantha, Sabrina and Sophia; and his parents-in-law, George Hazzard (Karen), Diane Beyer (David) and Rose Merkel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
