She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Markham and Josephine Markham (Ely); her stepmother Dorothy Roe Markham; her sisters, Sandra Ray and Loretta Markham; her nephew John Ray; and her close friend John "Jack" Generalli.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Robert "Bobby" Ray (Terri), Joe Ray (Colleen), Lisa Stubbs and Lynn Jones (Tony).
Mary Lou's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to either the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
