With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Smyth Bohemier in Saint James, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Patrick Smyth; and her brother Patrick Smyth. She is survived by: her children, Jodi Farrington (Jason Rockwell) of Solvay and Steven (Sarah) of Solvay; her grandchildren, Damien and Lennon; her mother Janet Smyth of Camillus; her siblings, Ellen Hobbs of Camillus and Christopher Smyth (Janet) of Syracuse; and her nephews, Jay, Todd Hobbs and Shay Smyth. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buranich Funeral Home (5431 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the St. James Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Lori's family asks that contributions be made in her memory to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, 1 Conservation Place, Syracuse, New York 13204, in recognition of her love for animals and her commitment to conservation.
