“I was one of the hundred-odd primary students that he had, but circumstance lined up that for a bit I was the only student in his class. he was so kind to me. He sent us Christmas letters every year, one to my family and one on the inside addressed to me. He would always tell me how much of a beautiful young woman I was becoming and now much he knew I was going to accomplish. He didn't know it, but these words were often needed desperately when they came. There are so few in the world like him. He made a great impact on my life, and he was an impossibly kind and gentle man. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing his family, but I send condolences out to them knowing their grief is 100 times what I'm feeling now. He is definitely in the Celestial Kingdom, where he belongs.”

“I am so sad to hear of his passing. He was one of the greatest men I have ever observed. He accomplished such great things in his life, and he spend several of the last 25 years teaching children every Sunday about baptism. My daughter's brightened up so much each year that they received his Christmas card (he always found us regardless of moves).”
