It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George M. Sexsmith in Saint James, New York, born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on December 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Sexsmith and Margaret Sexsmith (Matthews); his sister Mary Margaret Hill (Stanley Hill); his brother-in-law John Robarts; his nieces, Kimberly Curran, Judy Daly and Karen Kemp; his nephew Daemen Lawrence; and his brother Roger Argentieri.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sexsmith; his sister Martha Robarts; his sons, Michael (Michele Strazzeri) and David (Lisa Arno); and his grandchildren, Emily, Christopher, Abby and Sam.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, 388 Upper Oakwood Ave., Elmira, NY 14903-1129. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the funeral home.
