She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe McBride and Aurora Lazarito McBride; and her spouse Benigno Acosta Mataban. She is survived by: her sister Elnora; her children, Josephine Michelle, Mark and Maurice; her son-in-law Lance; and her granddaughters, Ava and Veronica. She is also survived by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St James Funeral Home (829 Middle Country Rd, St James, NY 11780). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
