With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert G. Fertig of Sag Harbor, New York, born in Richmond Hill, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grace Ameila Smith and Robert George Fertig; his wife Marilyn Fertig of Sag Harbor; his daughter Nancy Burleson; his son-in-law Jan Burleson of Katy, Texas; his son Robert George Fertig III; his daughter-in-law Maria Carolina Frohard Fertig of Sound Beach; and his grandchildren, Emily Burleson-Williams, Matthew Burleson, Parker Fertig and Francesca Fertig.
