She is survived by: her husband George F Bender; and her children, Donald G Bender (Joseph Bracco) of Forked River, NJ and Kristen D Bender (Michael Mielko) of Dix Hills, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and life long friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yardley & Pino Funeral Home (91 Hampton St, Sag Harbor, NY 11963). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Andrews Cemetery (1133 Brick Kiln Rd, Sag Harbor, NY 11963).
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the North Shore Animal League or The American Heart Association.
