She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Petrie and Laura Petrie (Walker); her husband Keith C. Thomas; and her son-in-law Michael Chrisman. She is survived by: her children, Cathryn Chrisman of Sackets Harbor, NY, Julie Sharlow of Chaumont, NY, Amy Thomas of Mesa, AZ and Randy Thomas (Penny) of Patchogue, NY; and her grandchildren, Kevin Chrisman of North Carolina, Daniel Sharlow of Rochester, NY, Jenna Fox of Rochester, NY, Sarah Pasko of Chicago, IL, Jeremy Thomas of Long Island, NY, Jonah Thomas of Jacksonville, FL, Joshua of Long Island, NY and Jordan Thomas of Long Island, NY. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Reed and Benoit Funeral Home (632 State St, Watertown, NY 13601). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church.
