It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Johnston of Sackets Harbor, New York, born in Avondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles A. Johnston and Frances O. Ivins (Hoopes); his wife Jean Louise Shannon Johnston; his former wife Kathleen Wood of Watertown; his children, Jay Owen Johnston (Sue Rafferty) of Croydon, PA and Jeanne Deborah Johnston (Jaynibeth Goodwin) of Saugatuck, MI; his grandchildren, Katie Johnston (Phoenix) of Bristol, PA, Kelsey McNamara (Ryan) of Levittown, PA and Sean Johnston of Levittown, PA; and his great grandchildren, Barrett and Serena.
