He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas W. Doane and Myrna M. Doane (Haller); his brother George A. Doane; his great-niece Heather Coughenour; and his great-nephew Joshua Doane.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn L. Hanson of Evans Mills and Sandra L. Terrone of Willis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
