It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernita S. Huttemann of Sackets Harbor, New York, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Cullen and Lettie Joels Cullen; her husband Herbert Huttemann; her daughter Gail Giddings; and her nephew Lyndon "Butch" Huttemann.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan; her sons-in-law, Norman Townsend and Lee Giddings; and her grandchildren, Gregg (Eileen), Jan Townsend, Brian (Kari), Joseph (Anne) and Gretchen Townsend. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Herbert Huttemann Scholarship Fund care of Sackets Harbor Central School or a charity of ones choosing.
