He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Vidile and Matilda Vidile; and his daughter Valerie Mazzella (Frank). He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his children, Robert Vidile (Angela), Katherine Gentile (Carmine) and Nancy Re (Patrick); his grandchildren, Kristin, Robert, Amanda (Brian Scully), Joseph, Patrick, Cassandra (Brandon Martineson), Carmine and Kimberly; and his great grandchildren, John, Lily and Kelsey.
