He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William J. Gerety Jr. and Marie K. Buchspies; his wife Kathleen; his daughter Kaitlin; his siblings, Frances, Mary, Grace and Bill; his mother-in-law Marie Gianguzzi; his sister-in-law Laurie Gianguzzi; and his siblings' children, Meghan, Erin Cody and Sean Cody. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's name to the American Heart Association or the FFF Wildlife Center in Hunter, NY.
