It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Maffei of Rye, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 12, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Michael Maffei and Julia Maffei; his sister Victoria; his grandparents, John Maffei, Rose Maffei, Joso and Sunamita Mrdelja; and his aunts and uncles, Krsto Mrdelja (Sandra), Melissa Ferreira (Sergio), Richard Maffei and Dr. Anthony Maffei (Sylvia).
