He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Edward O'Reilly Sr.; his brother-in-law John Considine; and his aunts, Florence Roberts Skantze and Helene Roberts. He is survived by: his mother Syliva Roberts O'Reilly; his wife Caroline Cronin O'Reilly (Caley); his children, James (Arrow), Reagan, Gunnar and Reilly of Rye; his brother Biff (Jeanne); his nephews, Christopher and Edward O'Reilly; his siblings, Kelly Considine and Daniel (McKee); his sister-in-law Cammy Cronin Williams (Greg); his nieces, Riley, Maddie and Piper Williams; his nephew Chase Williams; his brother-in-law Teddy Cronin; his nephew Henry; and his in-laws, Bill and Cathy Cronin.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1036 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (910 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580).
