He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbert Hammel and Anna Marie Hammel (Zilliox); his brothers, Bert Jr. and Ray; his wife Judy; his children, Karen Ruge (Richard) and Jeff Hammel (Yvette); his grandchildren, Ryan and Jack; his child Jean Hammel (Doodnauth Hiraman); and his grandchildren, Michael, Scott, John and Kelly. He was also cherished by his brothers that George was introduced to Judith Catherine Wenderoth, the love of his life.
