It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delreta Wellington of Rye, New York, born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Alfanso Prince; her sister Maggie Lucas; and her niece Lorna Lucas. She is survived by: her spouse Ciaphas Wellington; her daughters, Jacqueline Wellington of Wappingers Falls and Charlene Harry (Phil) of Wappingers Falls; her stepdaughter Jennifer Wellington; her grandchildren, Kayshan, Alicia, Alexis, Nicholas, Nicole, Nathaniel, Jayden and Amaya; her siblings, Keith Prince and Lina Orridge; and her sister-in-law Pearline Wellington. She is also survived by three brother-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
