He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Dubitzky); his children, Alison Gjersvik (Gilbert), Susan, David A., Jr. (Karen), Nancy and Deborah Sindell (Matt); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, Benjamin, Matthew, David A., III (Trey), Chloe, Paige, Sam and Charlie; his brother Richard J. (Judy); and his sister-in-law Mildred Dubitzky.

Donations in his memory can be made to Blythedale Children's Hospital.

“This is Herbert Paul Froehlich at The Club in Briarcliff Manor and at 90 reviewing my life. David Miller, and his brother…and Paddington Bear…were clients of our firm. Sadly, this moment I learned that David passed away 11 months ago. He made an impression! David was always focused, with a crisp intellect and wonderful feel for humanity. I do think of my consulting days at Eden Toys and particularly the one/two punch of the Miller Brothers. My condolences to the family and especially to Richard.”

“So lovely to see all of you at David's funeral service today even though I wasn't able to speak with you afterwards. I worked for "Mr. Miller" at TMA from 1992-98. He was the best boss I ever had. I didn't hesitate to come and pay my respects - 25 years later. He taught me to see & act on my strengths. Traveled the world with him. Am now drinking Sancerre in his honor remembering him introducing it to me with some of you at a waterfront restaurant in France. Such a good man!!! Betsy Borrelli”
