He was predeceased by: his wife Chae Kum Kim; and his son Eugene Kim. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Kim (Doris Lin) of Freehold, NJ, Susan Kim (Laurence Klavan) of New York, NY and Olivia Kim (James Lochart) of New York, NY; and his grandchildren, Melody Lin, Maple Lin, Evelyn Lochart and Kathryn Lochart.
Memorial donations in memory of Dr. Kim may be made either to the American Civil Liberties Union or to Liberty in North Korea (LINK).
