He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann McCarthy of Rye Brook, NY.; his children, Thomas McCarthy (Ann Marie) of Brewster, NY., Stephen McCarthy (Jane) of Wappingers Falls, NY., Marie Elena "Mem" McCarthy (Neil Tanico) of Harrison, NY., Michael McCarthy (Eileen) of Mahopac, NY. and Jeannine Tempesta (Tommy) of Rye Brook, NY.; his daughter-in-law Lori McCarthy of South Salem, NY.; and his grandchildren, Jane Marie Grandchamp, Kayla McCarthy, Allison McCarthy-Barnes, Joseph McCarthy, Elizabeth McCarthy, Julianna Tanico, Christopher McCarthy, Gianna Tempesta, Sean McCarthy, Charlie Tanico, Natalie Tempesta and Caroline Tanico. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Craft Memorial (40 Leicester St, Port Chester, NY 10573). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Rye Brook Senior Center.
