He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale DiPalma and Giuseppina Turilli DiPalma. He is survived by: his children, Pasquale DiPalma (Susan) of Greenwich, Ferdinando DiPalma, Jr. (Melissa) of Danbury and Karen DiPalma-Lizasuains (Eddie) of Rye Brook, NY; and his siblings, Mario DiPalma (Gemma) of Port Chester, NY, Anthony DiPalma (Rosealba) of Port Chester, NY, George DiPalma (Gesilda) of Italy, Flora DiPalma of Italy and Nina DiPalma (Gaetano) of Italy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
