“My deepest condolence to the Lionti family. Cosmo Victor was a dear soul and a very talented musician. Victor studied with my late great father-violinist, violist Oscar Shumsky. My first encounter with this lovely soul was on Saturdays when he came to my home for lessons. I was aware of his warmth and goodness even as a young teen. Later on I became his concertmaster for the Westchester youth Symphony All in the orchestra admired him very much. He will be missed terribly, Eric Shumsky”
