He was predeceased by: his father Richard Carnes. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Carnes; his sons, Jay Carnes of Saugerties and Ray Carnes of Japan; and his siblings, Rebecca Bouchard of Saugerties, Tina Carnes of Long Island, Alicia Carnes of Dallas and Douglas Carnes of Las Vegas.
