With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joey Griffin of Russell, New York, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 54. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joey Griffin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Kenneth "Bear" Johns; and his brothers, John Cook, Wally Anson, Billy Anson and Mark Hart.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Griffin and Connie Badger (Ashlaw); his wife Patricia Johns; his children, Allyson Barker, Danielle Griffin (Paine Morse), Jaimie Griffin (Dalton Seward) and Joey Griffin Jr. (Aniston Huckle); his grandson Remington Seward; and his brothers, Stephen Griffin (Amber) and Bradley Griffin (Penny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Leary Funeral Service (5821 US-11, Canton, NY 13617). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
