He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Kenneth "Bear" Johns; and his brothers, John Cook, Wally Anson, Billy Anson and Mark Hart.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Griffin and Connie Badger (Ashlaw); his wife Patricia Johns; his children, Allyson Barker, Danielle Griffin (Paine Morse), Jaimie Griffin (Dalton Seward) and Joey Griffin Jr. (Aniston Huckle); his grandson Remington Seward; and his brothers, Stephen Griffin (Amber) and Bradley Griffin (Penny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
