He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whiting and Mary Whiting (LaRose); and his siblings, William Whiting, Shirley Archambo and Jean Hutt.
He is survived by: his significant other Debra Sargent; his children, Tammy Niles (Brian) of Moira, Michael Whiting of Cicero, Kimberly Sargent of Florida and Lori Ouderkirk (Eric) of San Antonio, TX.; his grandchildren, Randy Whiting (Mandy), Britney Cook, Allison St. John, Jordan Page, Emmali Ouderkirk, Lillian Ouderkirk and Gary Ouderkirk; and his great grandchildren, Rylan, Brayden, Isabella, Tyler and Brodie.
