He was predeceased by: his son Richard Harris; his siblings, Floyd Harris and Cheryl Harris; his stepsiblings, Ronald Fenlong and Sally Mandigo; and his parents, Floyd H. and Flossie McIntyre Harris Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Harris Jr. of Plattsburgh and Melanie (Jeremy Chaney) of Carthage; his sister Christine (Jack Lafferty) of Lecanto; his stepsiblings, David Fenlong of DeKalb Junction, Gary Fenlong of Heuvelton, Donald Fenlong of Naples, Michael Fenlong of DeKalb Junction, Sue Bessette of Pyrites and Diane Warner of Heuvelton; his sister-in-law Lucy Harris of DeKalb Junction; and his wife Joan Conto. He is also survived by four grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
