He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Given and Pauline Given (Strate); and his siblings, Howard, Hazen, Wilfred, Herbert Given, Agathlyn Thomas and Edwina Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Barkley; his children, Charles Given, Jr. (April), Howard Given (Pam), Patricia "Patti" Hill (Randy Allen) and Penny Allen (Scott); his grandchildren, Katelynd Hill, MaCailla, Kayleigh and Cooper Allen; and his siblings, Darrell Given (Suzanne), Virginia Kerr and Evangeline "Van" Soper (Phil Smith). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
