She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay LaForest Sr. and Elsie LaForest (Mayo); and her siblings, Roland LaForest, Gordon LaForest, Jay LaForest Jr., Joan Girard, Gloria Wike, Barbara LaForest and Sandra Morrow.
She is survived by: her husband George Rivers of Rouses Point; her children, Christopher (Teresa) of Hudson, NY and Pamela Prewitt (Gregg) of Davidsonville, MD; her siblings, Larry LaForest of Dayton, OH and Betty Miner of West Chazy; and her grandchildren, Hunter Rivers and Alexander Prewitt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Montgomery Hose Hook and Ladder Co. or St. Patrick's Church.
