With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura B. Pelkey of Rouses Point, New York, born in Champlain, New York, who passed away on April 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Ashline and Elsie Ashline (Mussen); her husband Gerald Pelkey; her children, Linda Pelkey Bahry and Dean Pelkey; her son-in-law Gordon Hurlburt; and her siblings, Gerald Ashline, Elizabeth Mary Ashline, Adeline Barnes, Helen Root and Veronica Gonyo.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Pelkey (Bonnie), Donna Giroux (Jacques), Marty Pelkey (Laurie) and Barbara Guay (Donald); her sisters, Dorothy Gibson and Gloria Ashline; her grandchildren, Ryan Bahry, Alexandra Bahry, Mathew Pelkey, Meagan Pelkey, Hilary Converse and Cameron Hurlburt; and her great grandchildren, Carter Baxter, Maeve Baxter and Max Converse. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rouses Point Fire Department.
