He was predeceased by: his mother Adele Proulx (Landry); his wife Sandra of Mary's Church; and his siblings, Mary, Pauline Proulx, Roger, Francis and Albert.
He is survived by: his father Emile Proulx; his close friend Shirley Bechard; his children, Joey and Melissa LaVenture (Glen); his grandchildren, Katie Stein (Brent) and Ashley (Austin Gonyo); his sister Jeanne Bechard; and his sister-in-law Irene Proulx. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, his family kindly requests donations be made to the Rouses Point Fire Department.
