He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavern Rivers and Irene Rivers (Mitchell); his wife Margaret "Peggy" Rivers; and his brother John Rivers. He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Teresa) of Hudson, NY and Pamela (Gregg Prewitt) of Davidsonville, MD; and his grandsons, Hunter Rivers and Alexander Prewitt.
