She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Truesdell and Helen Truesdell (Glen). She is survived by: her grandchildren, John Truesdell, Tiffany Buzzo (Nicolas) and Joshua Fitzpatrick; her great grandchildren, John Truesdell Jr., Ella and Ava Buzzo; and her sister Susan Masi (Joseph).
In lieu of flowers, Rita requested donations in her memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
