He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Artese and Ethel Olson Artese; and his sister Doreen Morris (late Donald). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Dean Artese; his children, James Artese (Margaret Patrick) of Rotterdam Junction, Lisa Sweeney (John) of Scotia and Michael Artese (Christina) of Rotterdam Junction; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Kristen Roddy, Michael and Matthew Artese; and his brother Philip Artese (Denise) of Cortland Manor, NY.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joe's memory to the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
