In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Evelyn Van had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Evelyn Van may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Adrian Van Kouwenberg; her son Steven Van Kouwenbeg; and her sister Mildred Reynolds. She is survived by: her children, Marsha King (Kerry) of Cayuga, Eileen VanKouwenberg (Ed) of Puerto Rico, Larry VanKouwenberg of Hawaii and Ken Vankouwenberg of Shortsville; and her sisters, Pearl Dodds of Nova Scotia and Betty Saleem of Syracuse. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home (6816 Church St, Red Creek, NY 13143).
