He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Ryan and Mary Seifridsberger Ryan; his wife Alice VanSlyke Ryan; and his brother Frederick. He is survived by: his children, Alice Ryan Mansell, Michael (Sue), Edward Ryan, Maureen Taft (David), Kathleen Tobin (Gary) and Dr. Patricia Ryan; and his siblings, Mary Lance, Helen Upton, Dorothy Sheldrick, Jean Bourdeau, Judy Rizzo, David, Thomas Ryan, Patricia Moore and Catherine Malik. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
